Meet Lisa ✈️👋
One of the friendly faces behind the team at The Hangar Café & Bar! Lisa has been part of the Hangar family for the past 8 months and says what she loves most about working here is the family oriented feel of the team.

Originally from Sydney, Lisa has called the Whitsundays home for the past 8 years. When she’s not at the Hangar, you’ll usually find her catching up with mates over a Great Northern.

Her go-to order? The Captain’s Breakfast because it has absolutely everything she loves. Her favourite Hangar memory so far was the last runway dinner, an experience she’d never done before.

If Lisa could have any superpower, she’d choose bionic hearing… mainly to hear everything over those noisy planes! 😂✈️

For Lisa, great service is all about making sure every customer leaves with a positive experience. And what does she think you should know about The Hangar? We’re fully licensed, serving one of the best breakfasts in town, with one of the most unique views around.

✈ MEET THE TEAM | Amelia ☕

From London to Airlie Beach, meet Amelia, one of the friendly faces you’ll find behind the coffee machine at The Hangar Cafe and Bar.

Amelia joined the team 3 months ago as a Café Assistant and loves that working at The Hangar means being surrounded by a fun and supportive
crew.

Her go-to menu choice? The Globemaster Smoothie on soy 🥤 a favourite she describes as tasting “unreal”.

Before joining The Hangar, Amelia worked as a qualified lifeguard and spent time babysitting foster children. When she’s not at The Hangar, Amelia is usually chasing the outdoors, whether that’s a beach day, a game of netball or heading out for a run.

If she could choose any superpower, Amelia would become a human lie detector, helping uncover the truth, solve crimes and make the world a little
fairer.

One of her favourite Hangar moments so far was a Sunday afternoon spent with the team at Hydeaway Bay watching the sunset, sharing platters and
enjoying time together outside of work. 🌅

Her philosophy? Put in the effort, work hard and always bring your best. And her insider tip for customers… The Hangar is home to the best breakfast in Airlie Beach, so come hungry! 🤍✈
